You know your business. You’ve got the ideas and you want to sell your goods or services to a waiting public. But you’re lacking in two important elements: funding to get you started and under way; and customers ready to hand over their money in return for your work.
These two elements need your input. Bidding for funding and pitching for business are two different disciplines, but they require very similar skills. And those skills are based on writing clear documents that people will understand.
In fact, more than understand: you want people to enjoy and get involved with what they are reading. Because if you can get your targets on-board with your opening bid – or pitch – then you stand a good chance of getting what you set out for: funding for your bright idea, a queue of new customers, or both!
On average, this module should take around one hour to read and absorb the lessons, and then one hour per assignment.
